Cooper, Nic

Cooper,

Nic Cooper was born in Tkaronto, which is covered under Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit, and is the traditional territory of many First Nations (Toronto, Ontario). Their heritage is Polish-Jewish and Croatian, which impacts their artistic research, exploring cultural memory and its links to current events, alongside and intersecting with queer and trans stories. They enjoy guiding people through art activities and exhibitions to learn, grow and have fun! Hiking with Nic always takes a long time because they love all the colours and textures in the forest, so they stop every few minutes to look at moss.
