Have a look through some of the media coverage of Bleached by the Sun: Perspectives on Chinatown on at Nanaimo Art Gallery from January 24th – March 22, 2026.
Exhibition artists include Fred Herzog, Kin Jung, Karen Tam, Betty Wong, Jackie Wong, and Charlotte Zhang. These six artists bring forward a wealth of perspectives on Nanaimo’s Chinatowns with the understanding that any memory is incomplete, like a washed out photograph, bleached by the sun.
