We are calling all young emerging artists, critics, curators and designers aged 15-19! Meet weekly during the school year and experiment with various media, including video, photography, paint, collage, digital art and performance. Engage in insightful conversations about contemporary art and use this knowledge to create new artworks.  Learn from practicing artists and curators while exploring new exhibitions and the Gallery’s inquiry questions: How can we work together? and How can we play together? Create and showcase your work in two exhibitions – Nanaimo Artwalk in November 2024 and a final exhibition in May 2025.

Nanaimo Art Gallery offers two dynamic youth art immersion programs: Dazzle Camouflage Summer Youth Art Intensive, a 3-week program in August and Dazzle Camouflage Collective (formerly CØD3: Youth Art Collective) running throughout the school year.
