How do we unlearn, cleanse, heal, and renew ourselves and our relationships to the land and one another? A pair of Love Teeth, 몸“mohm” meaning ‘body’ and 맘“mahm” meaning ‘spirit/mind in Korean, will take you to Saysutshun. With a toothful of wishes contributed by each of us, we will imagine decolonial relations together.
Pstz’uminus & Penelakut knowledge-keeper Patrick Aleck Jr. will join us and drum. Please bring your own drum if you want. This event will require walking around Saysutshun, please contact [email protected] if you have any questions.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Gather at Maffeo Sutton Dock (Harbourfront Walkway, Nanaimo BC V9R) at 1:30 pm, price includes ferry.
